Our Privacy Promise

HomePrivacy Promise

You are not the product. You are the client.

Most media companies treat their audience as inventory — something to be packaged and sold to advertisers. We don't. The people who read Affinity Inc Magazine are the reason this publication exists. Your trust is not for sale.

Three commitments, plainly stated

We will never sell access to your data.

Your name, email address, and any other information you share with us will never be sold to any individual, company, data broker, or list aggregator — not now, not ever.

We will never sell or rent your information to third parties.

We do not license subscriber lists. We do not rent mailing lists. No third party receives your contact information from us for any purpose.

We do not partner with third parties for marketing or solicitation.

We have no co-marketing arrangements, affiliate data-sharing agreements, or lead-generation partnerships. Advertising reaches our audience only through our own channels — never by handing your data to a sponsor or advertiser.

What we do collect — and why

We collect only what we need to deliver the magazine and respond to your submissions.

Subscription (name and email)

When you subscribe, we collect your name and email address so we can deliver each issue to your inbox. Your company and title are optional — they help us understand our readership and improve coverage. We use this information for nothing else.

Moderated submissions (Community Bulletin, Affinity Exchange, Contact)

When you submit an event, listing, or message, we collect the details you provide so our editorial team can review and respond. This information goes to our team only — it is never shared with third parties, aggregated for sale, or used for any purpose other than processing your submission.

Site analytics (anonymous)

We may use anonymous analytics to understand how readers use the site — which articles are read, how long, on what devices. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Your control

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue email. You can also ask us to delete your information entirely — just email us and we'll take care of it, no questions asked.

Your data is 100% confidential and secure.

This is not a legal disclaimer written to protect us. It is a plain statement of how we operate. If you ever have a question about your data, write to us directly — a person will read it and respond.
